Wellspring Care Homes’ aim is to support the service users in gaining as much independence as possible. They are encouraged to take part in daily chores at home, which may include, cleaning their rooms, washing their dishes after a meal, putting their clothes in the washing machine, all under the supervision of the staff.
We work with a person-centred approach to fit our service users around them. We will talk and listen carefully to understand what your needs are and how you would like us to deliver your care. We will also ensure that we support you in making informed choices and decisions that will assist towards your progress of gaining independence.
We ensure that the necessary procedures are in place to provide a safe environment to support and protect the residents from risk and harm. It is essential to help individuals with disabilities or who require additional support to live independently and to feel empowered to participate fully in their communities.
We work with management for strategies and care plans for behavioral needs, which are regularly reviewed. Staff will support each person to live their life as they wish, enabling access to the community and safely managing any challenging behaviour they may have. We will seek professional help as and when required.
Each person will have an individual risk assessment to propagate personal well being. Wellspring care will strive to provide the best opportunities and choices within this framework — the freedom to try different activities and experiences to help them achieve their full potential.
This is about how we act on the information we receive from you. Feedback is how we shape and develop our services to make them relevant to the people we serve. We collect feedback from the person receiving care, their loved ones, doctors, and other care professionals.
Our key aim is to support residents to make informed decisions and choices that enable them to take control of their lives and progress towards maximum independence. An approach that includes supporting residents to take an active part in the way their home is run.
