With the right support and care to the people we care for, they live their lives to the fullest degree possible, and witnessing their continued progress, is the reason we do what we do.
Our dedicated staff and management play a significant role in the positive outcomes for adults and children, every single day.
We have received deeply rewarding feedback from the individual's appointee (the resident’s sister), who is delighted to see that her sister has settled into the home and is improving regarding her mobility, learning and anxiety difficulties. For example, during her previous placements, she was mostly unsettled. According to her sister, the care she used to receive was not according to her needs.
Ever since she moved in with Wellspring, she is the happiest and ensured of her independence with experienced support staff. JF goes to her day club regularly. Later in the evening, she goes for a walk. She is also involved in painting, cooking, and is interactive with her support staff. Wellspring installed chairlift for her convenience so that she can go up and down easily. She is very happy and well settled.
ON was one the first services user in our second home in Ilford area, when he moved from another supported living care home. According to his sister, ON is now well looked after, settled and she notices huge difference in his mood and overall well-being. ON now participates in trampoline session every Friday, cycling every Tuesday, and regular walks and exercise in the local park.
Due to being overweight, ON was suffering from high blood pressure. With the help of nutrition and dedicated Wellspring manager and staff, we have managed to bring his weight down considerably to a healthy level. His sister is so happy and appreciative of the measures taken to reduce his weight and looking healthier and happier. His BP is now under control.
Our patient, holistic, and carefully structured approach to the resident’s care resulted in a minimized risk of his absconding, as well as an interruption and discontinuance of his inappropriate behaviours.
IR moved away from his home for the first time and his transition was manage by almost 3 to 4 people along with his parents. He was always at risk of absconding while at home or when taking him for activities. Now he is 1:1 with us at home and 2:1 in the community. His parents and social workers are thrilled with his progress, and he started going to college last year. He has progressed so much both academically and socially, that his mother emotionally wrote to us about his transition and how grateful she is to Wellspring Care Homes.
